What we collect and where from

• Service request form: service type, field, specialization, level, description, deadline, optional budget, name, email, optional phone/WhatsApp, country, time zone.
• Contact form: name, email, optional phone, subject, message.
• Optional accounts: email and password, or Google sign-in.
• The newsletter sign-up form on our website.
• Sign-ups through Afak Academy sign-up forms at student events and activities in Arab countries. These forms belong to Afak Academy and the data comes directly to us.

How we use it

We use service-request and contact data only to handle that request or message. We send marketing emails only if the person ticked the separate, optional email checkbox and clicked the confirmation link we send (double opt-in).

Emails you may receive

• Service emails about a request you made (confirmation, next steps, your plan).
• The newsletter, only if you subscribed: service updates, study resources, student offers — no more than 2 emails per month.

Unsubscribing

Use the link in every email, the Email preferences page, or email privacy@afakacademy.online. Unsubscribes take effect immediately, and no later than 24 hours. Service emails about an active request may continue. We keep only the minimum suppression record needed to remember your request and stop your address from being added again or contacted in future marketing campaigns.

Consent records

We record when, where and with what wording each subscriber agreed and confirmed, and keep that record for 3 years after the last email we send them.

Retention

• Service requests and contact messages: 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted or anonymized, unless longer retention is required for a legitimate legal or dispute-related reason.
• Accounts: until you delete them.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe (consent and suppression records as described above).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@afakacademy.online.

Security

Data is stored on protected servers, is accessible only to authorized members of our team, and is not publicly accessible. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any change will be posted on this page with the updated date.
